Furnished with a much care and loving attention to detail, no two rooms in the hotel are alike.
Discover enchanting details from times long past, for example medieval wooden ceilings, parquet floors, stucco decorations or antique paintings – and experience the modern spirit of the recently completely renovated 5-star hotel with facilities such as direct dial telephone, flat screen TV and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) in all rooms and all areas of the hotel.
All bathrooms in the hotel are completed with bright marble from the Untersberg mountain and have gold fittings. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided.
In terms of room categories, our guests can choose from Classic and Executive rooms. We can also welcome you to one of our Suites or the 120 m² Kaiser Suite, unique in Salzburg.
Here is a short description of the rooms so that you get a more precise insight into the different room categories available:
Altstadt Classic
Timeless, comfortable and functional, these rooms have all the amenities of a modern 5-star hotel. The rooms are between 25 - 30 m² and offer a high degree of comfort. Flat screen TV, minibar, safe, telephone and writing desk complete the facilities on offer.
Altstadt Executive
The spacious Altstadt Executive rooms offer more living comfort, and are furnished in traditional style with lots of loving attention to detail. They are larger in size at 30 – 45 m², which provides plenty of room for relaxation. A cosy seating area or couch are perfect for whiling away the time.
Chosen Executive Rooms can also be booked with a balcony, and/or as a romantic attic room.
Altstadt Suites
Our luxurious suites are between 45 – 55 m² in size and have a comfortably furnished split living room and sleeping area. Upon request this can also be combined with one of the Executive Rooms by means of a connecting door, which increases the room size to 70 m². A cosy sofa and a Nespresso coffee machine guarantee the highest level of comfort.
Kaiser Suite
The 120 m² Kaiser Suite is the only amenity in Salzburg where you can live like an emperor above the roofs of Mozart's city. Integrated into the original rafters of this venerable hotel building, the suite has stylish amenities, numerous antique pieces of furniture and a superlative amount of space. Besides a Nespresso coffee station, a dining table with room for up to 6 persons and a working area, the suite also has a cosy couch with two comfortable armchairs. The romantic panoramic bathroom, finished in bright marble, offers a separate shower and a bathtub "especially for two". The roof terrace belonging to the Kaiser Suite offers the finest views over Mozart's city, the castle and Gaisberg mountain – in summer, loungers and parasols can be provided for relaxation "above the rooftops of Mozart's city".
