Sport & Fitness
The city’s leading fitness centre is located next to the hotel, while the banks of the Danube couldn’t be a more inviting place to go jogging (and which you can reach in a 5-6 minute run through the Landstrasse pedestrian precinct).
Excursions
When it comes to half-day trips, we highly recommend the cities of Wels, Steyr, Enns, Bad Leonfelden and Krumau in Southern Bohemia - a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
If you are in the mood for a day trip, the Salzkammergut and Wachau regions await you, as do the Bohemian Forest and the Upper Austrian mountains of the Pyhrn Priel Region.
Sights
As the former European Cultural Capital 2009 Linz remains a special centre of attraction and offers its visitors a variety of opportunities.
The most important attractions in Linz are within walking distance of the hotel - the Landstrasse, the cathedral, the main square, the Danube, the AEC, Lentos Art Museum and the historic Old City, to name but a few. Furthermore, the Pöstlingbergbahn, Europe’s steepest tram, runs from the main square all the way up to the top of the Pöstlingberg, the city’s renowned scenic mountain.
