White slopes and snow in abundance - no wonder that our extensive ski area is a magnet for all winter sports fans. Standing as it does, right next to the slopes, Hotel Fontana is an ideal starting point for each day you spend in the mountains.

Just one more final turn will take you from the slopes right into the party atmosphere of après-ski. Enjoy a relaxing chat, dance and party the day away amid the traditional atmosphere of an Alpine hut, accompanied by “hot” drinks of every kind and hearty Tyrolean cooking!
Winter Hikes
Take an enjoyable hike out along the white pathways which serve as your gateway to our snowy winter paradise. Countless trails take you out to some of the region’s most beautiful places, with plenty of opportunities along the way to step inside and warm up, to enjoy a hearty snack and a hot beverage.
Tobogganing
Whether you are young or young at heart, tobogganing has never been more popular than it is today. While the little kids are slithering down the nearby hillside, the “big kids” are zooming down kilometre-long toboggan runs towards the valley below. Traditional local fare and the good company you will find in our Alpine huts certainly don’t hurt anyone either!
Other Activities
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take a beautiful horse-drawn sleigh ride through the surrounding countryside. Snugly wrapped up in warm blankets, the sleigh will glide through the winter countryside and show you concealed places left essentially untouched by human hand.
