After the transmission of your e-mail address, we will send a controll report back to your given address. In this report we confirm the receipt of your subscription (or unsubscription). Besides we would like to ask you to confirm your subscription (or unsubscription) through a link. The link contains an (unforgeable) identification number and open a special site at our website - the subscription (or unsubscription) has been performed!
This method guarantee that only you (and nobody else) can make your subscription (or unsubscription). Without the controll report everybody, who knows your e-mail address, could subscribe (or unsubscribe) you - and your PObox is just full enough, isn't it? A second advantage (for us) is the guarantee of your e-mail address correctness - when you have made a typing error, you can't receive a controll report and so we send our newsletter only to existing addresses.
