Serving, spiking, sweating. And a mega atmosphere for the fans! Once again, from 31 July to 4 August 2019, Vienna will be the hotspot of the international beach volleyball scene – the A1 Major Vienna presented by Swatch is coming to the city. Find out here what is happening all around the tournament on the Danube Island and which beach bars and parties you should not miss.

The most important thing first: you don't have to worry about tickets for the matches. Access to the event area is traditionally free. So everyone has the chance to experience the matches up close. For seats in the stadium: first come - first served! But take note: anyone who books the beach volleyball package with an overnight stay in an Austria Trend Hotel definitely has access to the stadium!

The Major Vienna Beach Village

The size of the entire area is an unbelievable 60,000 m²; in addition to the Centre Court, the side courts and the VIP areas there is a huge Beach Village, which is open daily from 9.00 am. There is a lot to be discovered there. If you prefer to be lazy and cheer the players on from your deckchair, then you can relax in front of the large public viewing screens in Beach Village. Anybody else can jump on the trampolines, get a rush of adrenaline and then dive into the pool!
