Cafés and bistros in Vienna's museums

The impressive columned hall of the new Weltmuseum is the perfect place where - possibly exhausted from the "world tour" - you can refuel your energy. The menu features not only Austrian savoury dishes and sweets, but also international dishes with a slight Asian flair. My personal favourite!

Enjoy a meal under the painting of the young imperial couple in the menagerie with its imperial atmosphere and interior. The daily menu offers not only small snacks and traditional pastries, but also regional cuisine if you are feeling more hungry.

A somewhat different imperial flair awaits you in the Café & Restaurant Augarten, which is located adjacent to the imperial and famous Augarten Porcelain Manufactory. But the cuisine in particular is also imperial! The entire menu is characterised by the origins of Austrian culinary tradition – dishes from all over the former empire. 

The Café Leopold is always a bit younger and hipper. After seeing Klimt and Schiele, the most famous Austrian artists of the last century, the Café offers you not only a great view of the inner courtyard of the Museumsquartier, but also Asian cuisine! Something different for once!
