Not only lovers of contemporary art get their money's worth here. While some visit the museum itself, others can linger in front of the doors of the museum to admire the magnificent view over the entire city of Salzburg. There is a really impressive view both  inside and in front of the museum. 

The DomQuartier is (still) a real insider tip in Salzburg. This museum offers an incredibly exciting insight into the history of Salzburg, art and culture. The name "Das Kino" ("The Cinema") says it all! The cultural film centre in Salzburg shows an outstanding selection of both international and Austrian films as an alternative to the crazy blockbuster business.  But don't worry, you can still buy popcorn;) A great idea, particularly when it rains!
