    Innsbruckathlon

There is probably no way to explore a city that's more spectacular than the Innsbruckathlon. Over 10 kilometers past the most beautiful sights in Innsbruck. And while that's exciting enough, there are over 20 obstacles in your way. Count me in and see you in June!

    Where Innsbruck runs

That would be an idea: to put your New Year’s resolution to “do more sports” into practice already on New Year's Eve! Innsbruck does exactly that and organises a run at the turn of the year. The kids run almost two kilometres, the adults five kilometres. The motto: into the New Year at full speed!

Innsbruck museums which you should visit

Not always imperial, but always interesting

As a former imperial residence (with a view of the Alps, mind you) Innsbruck was an important location in Austrian history. That's why there is a quasi second Hofburg with imperial apartments - as in Vienna. Especially Maximilian I was delighted with his Innsbruck. So delighted that he also wanted to be buried here: the Court Church is actually only there because of him - however he did not live to see the 40 statues, the "black men", which he wanted to have around his grave. Today only 28 remain. Rich ones too.

Keeping children in a good mood in Innsbruck

In search of wow experiences for children

The Innsbruck Card also includes the Innsbruck Sightseeing Bus. It stops at most of the important points in and around Innsbruck and, while the parents listen to the audio guide, the kids can relax while looking out the window and enjoying a snack you have bought - until the next wow experience. Incidentally, the bus also stops right in front of the Austria Trend Hotel in Innsbruck!
