Austria Trend Bonus Scheme

The Austria Trend Bonus Card is issued by Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts (Österreichisches Verkehrsbüro AG), Lassallestraße 3, A-1020 Wien.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SCHEME

Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts' customer loyalty scheme is aimed at individual travellers staying in Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts. Possession of the Austria Trend Bonus Card is a prerequisite for participation in the Austria Trend Bonus Scheme. The "Austria Trend Bonus Card" is issued in the name of the cardholder. It cannot be transferred to third parties and does not serve as a method of payment.

In the event of any amendments to these General Terms and Conditions the cardholder will be informed in writing of the new Terms and Conditions. The amendments shall be deemed to have been accepted if the cardholder does not object to the amendments in writing within one month.

The Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts service rendered in return for redemption of points collected under the "Austria Trend Bonus Card" scheme may be subject to tax. The cardholder shall bear from his own funds the expense of the obligation to pay contributions that may arise from redemption of points as a result of occupancy of private overnight accommodation.

Companies, organisations and employees of Österreichisches Verkehrsbüro AG are not permitted to participate in the Austria Trend Bonus Scheme.

Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts has the right to terminate the scheme with six months' notice. When the period of notice expires, the cardholder's entitlement to consumption of any bonuses and redemption of any points still on account shall cease.

APPLYING FOR THE "Austria Trend Bonus Card"

We are currently developing a new bonus programme, which is why we can't take on any new registrations right now.

PREFERENTIAL SERVICES OFFERED BY THE SCHEME

Holders of the Austria Trend Bonus Card are assured the following services, which may only be claimed by holders of valid customer cards, when they stay at Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts.

1. Collection of bonus points

Every time the cardholder stays in a hotel of Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts where the stay includes at least one chargeable night, and whilst the "Austria Trend Bonus Card" is valid, the cardholder will be credited bonus points in accordance with the following terms: For each (1) euro of accommodation basis (bed only, B&B, HB, all-inclusive), depending on the hotel's availability, the cardholder will be credited with approx. 10 bonus points. Points will only be credited for round amounts in euros.

For example:
3200 points will be credited for 320.80 euros. Since the scheme is aimed at individual travellers staying in Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts, bonus points cannot be credited for corporate seminars, banquets or other events, including private events, whose total value is paid by the cardholder. With the exception of Cardholder Specials, half points only will be awarded for package offers that include services such as excursions organised by the hotel, health and beauty treatments, ski passes or visits to museums. Bonus points are not awarded for reservations booked via a third party (travel agency). Once the cardholder has collected a predetermined number of points, the cardholder can redeem them for predefined hotel accommodation. Bonus points can be credited to the cardholder's account only once the issue fee of 10 euros has been credited.

2. Special cardholder offers

This relates to accommodation offers that comprise a special offer and can be used by "Austria Trend Bonus Card" holders only. These offers can only be reserved, however, through Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts' Central Reservations office.

3. "Austria Trend Hotel News" newsletter (3 x p.a.)

Three times a year cardholders will receive an Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts newsletter providing regular information updates on the hotel group and the Bonus Card Scheme. The newsletter will also introduce special offers and any other promotional campaigns.

4. Exclusive room set-up

Austria Trend Bonus Card cardholders will benefit from the Feel Good room set-up in all the Group's hotels.

5. Waiting list priority

If a cardholder requests a room in an hotel that is fully booked, cardholders will be given priority over other customers on the waiting list, so that as soon as a room becomes available, this will be allocated to the cardholder.

6. Room upgrade (depending on availability)

Depending on availability, upon arrival cardholders will be upgraded to the next highest category of room. It will not be possible, however, for two people to occupy a room at the single room price.

7. Early Check-in / Late Check-out

Austria Trend Bonus Card holders may occupy a room as early as10:00 AM on the day of check-in and have until 2:00 PM to vacate the room on the check-out day at no extra cost (subject to room availability).

POINTS BALANCE STATEMENT

The cardholder will be sent his statement showing the current points balance once a year by post. Cardholders can also check their points balance via the Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts home page at www.austria-trend.at/bonuscard, or at the hotel where they are staying, or via the Central Reservations Hotline on +43(1)58 800 800.

If the points for a turnover have not been credited to your account, please send a copy of the hotel bill to Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts' head office, within 6 months from the date of the bill, so the account balance can be checked and the points credited as applicable.

REDEEMING POINTS

1. Redeeming points

The points collected may only be redeemed against services specified by Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts. The maximum redeemable bonus points per reservation may not exceed the equivalent of a 2-night stay. In order to redeem points, the cardholder must first place a reservation, stating his customer number and name, with Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts' Central Reservations department. Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts will inform the cardholder of room availability. Since each hotel has only a limited number of rooms available for use with redemption of bonus points, there might be no availability for specific dates.

2. Validity of points

Bonus points are valid for a period of 36 months from being credited to the cardholder's points account. If they are not used within this time they will expire and cannot be replaced.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

In order to avail himself of the services detailed above, the cardholder must state his customer card number and name when making a reservation and, upon arrival at the hotel, show his card at Reception. When checking out or paying his bill, the cardholder must also show his card so it can be registered and the corresponding Austria Trend Bonus Points credited to his account. Preferential service is only guaranteed upon compliance with these terms and conditions.

WITHDRAWAL AND RETENTION OF CARD

In the event of infringement of the present General Terms and Conditions of Business Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to withdraw or stop the card, and to withdraw preferential services and points collected from the cardholder with immediate effect and without any compensation.

The present General Terms and Conditions of Business are subject to the law of Austria.
