I have been coming to Hotel Europe since the 1980's and think highly of you. However, while checking out, I had a rather unpleasant experience with a young lady who was haughty, condescending and not friendly at all. I am not certain of her name since she did not want to tell me when I asked her three times. She did finally mumble what sounded like Katya?? Such a person does not belong in the hospitality field.

Great staff and breakfast choices. Location is very near to all attractions.

For more than two decades, this hotel has been my home whenever I visit Vienna. Every stay is a pleasure, thanks to the warm atmosphere and the genuinely friendly staff. What makes this hotel truly special is that many team members have been here for many years, allowing us to build lasting relationships that now feel like family. My children have been coming to this hotel since they were one year old. Today, they are both over 17 years old, and we still enjoy staying here as much as ever. The welcoming environment always makes us feel at home. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire hotel team, with special thanks to Marcos. He has always been exceptionally professional, kind, and supportive. Whenever we needed assistance,Markus  was there to help, and he has consistently made our stays smooth and enjoyable. We have also arranged our bookings through him, and everything has always been handled perfectly. Thank you, Markus , and thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality over the years. We wish you continued success and look forward to returning again and again. We hope to be welcomed by Marcos at the reception for many years to come.

We greatly appreciated the friendly, courteous and very helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant, the quiet, comfortable airconditioning (when turned to its lowest setting at night), and especially also the hotel's super-central location in Vienna's historic 1st district.

Top location, no garage, a little outdated

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel but as this was my second visit to vienna I had found there is something uniquely dour about the Austrians
