The definitely hottest beach volleyball tournament in the world is back in Vienna. From 31 July to 4 August, the legendary A1 Major Vienna presented by Swatch will arrive on the island, making Vienna the world capital of beach volleyball this summer.
Before the nets are strung up in the largest sandpit in Austria, you should tune your body and mind to the mega event and bring your beach body up to scratch. Read our tips to find out where there is the most excitement and where the sport is taken most seriously. So off into the sand and go and get the ball!
These city beaches understand what beach volleyball fans really want: drinks under palm trees, delicious food, relaxing in a deckchair and – above all – soft, white quartz sand for wild bumping in the sand pit. Here you can play your own personal tournament, accompanied by nice DJ tunes.
