Chill-out beaches in the heart of the city

Sand and drinks

Stick your feet in the sand in the centre of the city and drink a margarita while doing so? Yes, that is possible, with good food and great music into the bargain.

    City Beach

You will find the City Beach just across the canal at Schwedenplatz - not far from the Taborstraße. You'll find everything your heart desires at the Beach Bar, the Schirm Bar, Café Bar Puspi and Gery & Yvette. From good Caipirinhas, Cuba Libres to juicy burgers from Canadian bison. A great place for in between, after an appointment or to soak up the sun during a shopping trip.

    Tel Aviv Beach

The Viennese love Tel Aviv Beach - especially after work and at weekends. The stylish beach on the Danube Canal offers aromatic, Israeli food and good drinks to the sound of great beats. Not without reason a hotspot during the summer months in the city.

    Strandbar Herrmann

This was the first! When the first beach bar in Vienna opened a few years ago, that was a sensation. As far as food is concerned, the beach bar has a lot to offer and, in contrast to the other bars on the Danube Canal, has a lot of space. In addition to good music, food and drink, there is also a beach breakfast on Saturday and yoga on Sunday. Absolutely recommended!
