Die Sattlerei is not only a feast for the eyes thanks to its stylish interior, but also a real insider tip as a restaurant for fine dining with modern urban, regionally influenced cuisine and around 150 international wines, mostly biodynamically produced. The finest materials, earthy natural tones and stylish lamp designs create a very puristic ambience, which one would rather expect in the 1st Viennese district.
Even though we can't travel internationally at the moment, the kitchen team is at least tempting us to Vietnam in culinary terms. Thanks to the new design concept, however, not only Vietnamese culture is served on the plate, but rather the history and tradition of the country is reflected. The gastronomy bears the signature of Marco Simonis, who was able to win Marian Link as chef thanks to their shared passion for Mediterranean cuisine. On the menu you can expect many southern dishes. But among them also delicious Moules Frites!
A separate room on the mezzanine with a friendly urban interior was designed in the historic ambience of the former Bank Austria. An extremely long counter reveals the culinary offerings of the adjacent posh supermarket. On the wine list you will find several hundred wines, which can be consumed for a surcharge in the mezzanine. The ingredients for a thoroughly Austrian cuisine with a slightly international touch are just as fresh.
As soon as you enter the Palais, you are surprised by the interior. The design, colors, fabrics and materials are more than impressive, as well as the independent bar. The drinks as well as the culinary are marked by great creativity. The menu is like a culinary journey around the world. The bites (various appetizers meant for sharing), pasta dishes and main courses are internationally inspired and specialties, among which vegans and vegetarians will also find great options.
