Concerts, comedy cabaret and readings

"Party like a local" is the motto

From ska to poetry to political cabaret: Salzburg offers the full range. Away from classical concert halls, this is where insiders celebrate. If you want to party along with the locals, you should venture here.

    ARGE Kultur

The ARGE Kultur is Salzburg's largest independent cultural centre and venue for contemporary and socially critical cultural productions. The spectrum ranges from theatre and dance to political cabaret and revues to readings and poetry slams. There is always something going on here. That's why a spontaneous visit pays off.

    Rockhouse

As the name implies, the Rockhouse is the venue for concerts. Even if "rock" is in the name, that does not mean that not other genres can't be found here. The programme on the two stages includes concerts by Austrian and international musicians of various genres.

    Jazzit

The Jazzit has a slight underground charm. Both jazz lovers and night owls who like to dance to Drum and Bass will find exciting events here.

    kleines theater

For more than 35 years, the "kleines theater" (small theater) has been a fixture in Salzburg's cultural scene for young and old. Not only the vault as a location is unique, but also the program: from cabaret and theater to music.
