Craft Beer in Vienna

Beer as far as the eye can see

You don't have to look far for special beers in Vienna. Again and again you stumble across one or the other craft beer bar. In addition to more classic flavors, you can try  unusual varieties - how about a pine, apricot or chocolate beer?

  1. 1

    Känguruh Pub

One of the best addresses for beer in Vienna. Over 200 types of beer can be tasted in a cozy atmosphere - including many Austrian beers from micro and small breweries. Due to the huge selection of exciting beer varieties, it often doesn't stop at a single visit. By the way, the neighboring pub - Timo’s Living Room - is Vienna's first beer cocktail bar.

  2. 2

    achtundzwanzig taproom

The twenty-eight taproom has been around for a few years, and since 2020 it has been a taproom from the Austrian start-up brewery BrewAge. Seasonal beers and limited editions are tapped, as well as guest beers from fellow brewers. For non-beer drinkers there’s a tasty selection of red, white and sparkling wines. A small garden invites you to sit outside on warmer days.

  3. 3

    Ammutsøn Craft Beer Dive

Ammutsøn usually has a surprise in store - with rotating taps and changing bottled beers from around the world, there's always something new. Independence is very important here, so only beers from independent microbreweries are served.
