Healthy food to go

Small but fine - markets and shops in Vienna

You don’t always have to go to the large markets to find what you are looking for. Small markets and pop-up stores have taken Vienna by storm.

  1. 1

The soups, stews and sugos in the Suppito take-away near the Naschmarkt not only taste great but are cooked according to the five-element theory and thus have a positive effect on the body. Whether classic vegetable soup, chilli con carne or potato goulash - the sumptuous food warms the body through and through.

  2. 2

In the Biodeli on Gumpendorfer Straße you will find the perfect mixture of Indian and original Viennese cuisine. Here there is something for everyone - no matter if vegans, vegetarians or meat eaters. Only dishes from local organic producers are served at the table and at fair prices.

  3. 3

    Naturkost St. Josef

The Naturkost St. Josef in the 7th district is a pioneer when it comes to organic products. At lunchtime there is a buffet with vegetarian delicacies. The vegan kebabs are a dream and not only popular with vegans. Here particular importance is attached to the quality of the products and regionality is a top priority.

  4. 4

    Farmers' organic market Freyung

The Freyung organic market in the 1st district is probably the most elegant of the farmers' markets. Every Friday and Saturday there is a great selection of regional products. In addition to the colourful food stalls, you will also find handwoven baskets, woodcarving and felt handicrafts. The central location means it is a great starting point for a sightseeing tour of Vienna.
