Not just for youngsters

Musicals for children are often particularly interactive and tell stories from which even adults can learn something. I'll try to make the choice easier for you and have collected a few highlights:

    ELIO with the mysterious suitcase

Theater Heuschreck has been performing musicals for the whole family for more than 30 years. From March 2022, the story of little Elio - "the boy with the suitcase" - will be staged in the famous Porgy & Bess. After Elio's suitcase is stolen by the principal of a magic school, the adventure begins! Good to know: the ticket price includes a craft session before the performance.

At some point you will have had enough culture and want to get out of the city - experience something completely different for a change. Nothing is easier than that: the nearby Wachau (the most picturesque stretch of the Danube Valley), the Danube Island with its cycle paths and the huge, modern thermal baths in Oberlaa are easily accessible destinations for a day trip.
