Salzburg with a difference

From the water, in the night and amongst animals – an experience either way!

  1. 1

A tour (by night) in Hellbrunn Zoo

Hellbrunn Zoo, on the outskirts of Salzburg, is almost always a veritable visitor magnet, especially for families. In the summer months, the zoo also offers a very special highlight in addition to the various, very interesting, themed tours: every Friday and Saturday the gates are open until 10 pm so you can experience the animals at night. A very special experience for young and old!

  2. 2

    Explore Salzburg by boat

You can not only discover Salzburg on foot, by bike or by bus! No, Salzburg can even be explored from a completely new perspective on a speedboat. Especially exciting are the different tours that are on offer. Here you can explore not only the city, but also the surrounding area.

  3. 3

    Themed tours of Salzburg

The Salzburg tourist guides offer special themed tours away from the classic beaten track. How about following in the footsteps of Salzburg’s night watchmen? Or learning all about the herbs and wildflowers in the middle of the city? Or do you want to be really scared during a spooky tour? All this and much more can be discovered in Salzburg!

  4. 4

If you have travelled to Salzburg by car, you should definitely invest 1-2 hours and drive up the Gaisberg. Not only is the road itself fun to drive, the view from the summit is literally breathtaking. I would rather be no where else in the world to watch the sunset!
